Aligned Care and Connections
In the spirit of compassionate communities, self-empowerment, and living authentically and in line with values, it is our intent at Aligned Care and Connections to create a space for tiered, complementary networks to support each other and the community.
Honouring Life Education is achieving its goals by curating information and resources on the various wellness elements into a central hub - The Honouring Life Education website, the events and now also Aligned Care and Connections.
There is a $25 registration fee for the opportunity to tell potential referrers to your business, product and services while enjoying the mini-high tea.
Education in its various forms is a path towards empowerment. When we know more, we can choose differently, altering our future sometimes in immeasurable ways.
The invitation is being extended - Join our community awareness and education pod.
The idea is that by learning what other businesses, organisations and individuals in the aging, palliative care and end-of-life sectors are providing, collectively we can empower our audience to make choices based on their values, needs and stage of life.
We are selecting businesses, organisations, agencies, and individuals who are aligned with Honouring Life Education's ethos - to support, educate, connect and empower those navigating the aging, palliative and end-of-life phase for themselves or another.
These include, but are not limited to:
- Providers and supports for at home care
- Primary and Allied Health care providers
- Navigators and Connectors
- Financial and Legal advisors
- Advocates supporting this demographic
- Death Care workers
- End-of-life planners
- Policy developers and Administrators.
- Community Groups, advocates and support.
- Carer support
- Grief, bereavement and crisis care.
- Educators
- Assistance providers include meals, equipment, and support.
- Retirement, Aged Care Homes
- Government Agencies
- Other. If your role is not listed, reach out anyway and lets chat.
Meet and Greet
Three times a year, we will host professional meet-and-greet events so businesses, organisations, and individuals in the care sector can get to know each other.
Each event will be
themed with a significant day,
a fundraiser for a major charity that does an amazing job in the community.
Community Meet and Greet
Purpose: To help reduce the barrier of uncertainty, not knowing what they don't know, they can ask and explore multiple ideas and interlinking topics at the same event.
Similar to the professional Meet and Greet, the difference is that those from the 'professional' group who can attend the community event are invited to share their mission and services and serve as an interactive information resource for community attendees.
Think of it like a sit-down, pamper-and-enjoy expo.
Our Mission Keys
Honouring Life Education was born from knowing what it feels like to be overwhelmed and going down too many rabbit holes and getting lost.
Reinforced by many similar conversation it was the next logical thing to combine the information and resources into a central location, and host various events to reinforce the messages.
