Aligned Care and Connect

Meet exceptional professionals over morning tea

 Why is this important?

We don't know what we don't know.

Businesses, agencies, services, products, and people are doing wonderful things to support individuals and families through ageing, caring, life transitions, and end-of-life. Yet finding the right information or support can be difficult, especially when you don't know where to look. This applies to the community and professionals alike

Aligned Care & Connect, by Honouring Life Education, aims to change that.

By coming together, sharing what we do, and learning what others offer, we build a connected pool of knowledge. One that opens opportunities, helps us learn about available support and makes it easier for the people we work with, represent and care about to find what they need.

Why this gathering matters

Care professionals and community organisations do stronger work when they know who is in the room, what support already exists, and where people still struggle to find the right information. This event creates space to make those connections, highlight local knowledge, and turn separate efforts into more connected pathways and support.

Meet people doing the work

Hear directly from professionals, organisations, and businesses about who they serve and how they help.

Share what your community needs

Bring your experience of the search and knowledge gaps you see every day, and compare notes with others across the sector.

Leave with new pathways

Build practical relationships that can make referrals, collaboration, and community problem-solving easier after the event ends.

Who should be in the room

This morning is designed for people who want a clearer view of the services, organisations, and businesses working in the community, and who are ready to contribute ideas that make support easier to find.

Care professionals

Join peers who are looking for stronger local networks, better referral knowledge, and more informed conversations about community needs.

Community organisations

Share what your organisation offers, understand where people still struggle to find help, and identify opportunities to work more closely with others.

Purpose-led businesses

Meet people across the local care and community landscape, explain the role your business plays, and take part in constructive discussion about service visibility.

An expo over morning tea

Expect a relaxed but purposeful session on 27 October 2026 at Amici House, Bracken Ridge. From 10 am to 12 pm, you’ll have time to connect over morning tea, hear what other professionals and organisations are doing in the community, and take part in a conversation about where search and knowledge gaps are getting in the way of support.

A warm start with room to connect

Begin with morning tea and informal introductions that make it easier to meet people beyond your usual circle.

Short conversations with practical context

Learn what local professionals, organisations, and businesses do so you leave with a clearer sense of who can help with what.

Brainstorming that stays grounded

Discuss the search and knowledge gaps affecting the community and explore realistic ways to improve how people find support and information.
